As per the mythology, Lord Ram’s younger brother Laxman crossed the river by building a jute rope bridge, and hence in his honour the bridge is named Laxman Jhula. It was later rebuilt in 1939, as the jute bridge was washed away in floods in 1924. While on the bridge take a look at the picturesque Ganga river and the temples around like Kailash Niketan Mandir. From this Mandir, especially in the evening, capture the beautiful sunset, the Laxman Jhula and the river Ganga in your travel memories.




Don’t miss the mesmerizing evening Aarti ceremony at Triveni Ghat, where one can see how the priests worship the Goddess Ganga and get indulged in the divine ambiance with devotional songs playing in the background.

Every evening Ganga Aarti is also performed at the Parmath Niketan Ashram and you may also offer a diya to holy river Ganga at the end of the electrifying aarti ceremony.  One can also see immense greenery and idols of God & Goddess like Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, Lord Sri Krishna, Goddess Durga, and other rishis’s idols inside the ashram.
